(binhthuan.gov.vn) Synchronizing investment in infrastructure, focusing
on removing difficulties for key tourism projects, Binh Thuan province is
making efforts to bring the province's "smokeless industry" to a breakthrough
development in the current period.
On the morning of
April 29, 2023, the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway was officially completed
and put into operation. With this expressway, the destination of Binh Thuan
becomes convenient for tourists from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces
as it only takes about 2 hours to travel by car.
The developed
infrastructure has created a huge boost for the province's tourism, on the
occasion of Hung King's death anniversary, April 30 and May 1, Binh Thuan province
received 160,000 visitors (this number was doubled compared to the same period
in 2022). The statistics also show that the average occupancy rate of rooms was
from 90 to 100% (1-2 star hotels and equivalent reached approximately 90%
capacity, 3 - 5 star resorts and hotels and the equivalent reached nearly
100%). Most of them are domestic tourists from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Dong
Nai, Binh Duong, Khanh Hoa, the Southwest provinces, Hanoi...
With
the expressway project, the southern tourist areas of Phan Thiet City,
especially NovaWorld Phan Thiet are increasingly attracting a large number of
tourists that must thank to the convenient travel distance.
It
can be seen that, the push from the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway has
strongly promoted the tourism industry and related industries and fields such
as agriculture, commerce, services, transportation, real estate, etc. In order
to take advantage of this opportunity and make a breakthrough, Binh Thuan will
continue to invest in roads connecting with 03 important axes as expressways,
national highways, and coastal roads; in which: Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road will
connect the expressway with the coastal road DT.719; DT.711 road connecting the
highway with the Hoa Thang - Hoa Phu coastal road; DT.719B - Hon Lan - Tan Hai
road connecting Phan Thiet city with La Gi town; Tan Minh - Son My road
connects National Highway 55 with National Highway 1A and Dau Giay - Phan Thiet
highway...
Resolution
of the 14th Binh Thuan Provincial Party Congress affirmed that Binh
Thuan province will focus on developing 03 pillars associated with high-tech
application and value chain, namely: industry, tourism and agriculture. Of the
three main pillars mentioned above, tourism is the key economic sector of the
locality and has undergone a 25-year journey of formation and development with
remarkable achievements. Besides, Binh Thuan is also oriented to become the
National marine sport and tourism center…...
Implementing
the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, over the past time, Binh Thuan
province has prioritized calling for investment in high-class resort and
amusement park projects from strategic investors to invest and develop Binh
Thuan to become a favorite destination of a large number of international
tourists. Among the large-scale projects invested in the province in recent
years, NovaWorld Phan Thiet project can be mentioned. Currently, NovaWorld Phan
Thiet has completed construction and put into operation a number of works such
as: 36-hole golf course; restaurants; café shops; amusement parks and Movenpick
hotel.
It
is expected that by the end of 2025, the whole project will be completed. In
order to create favorable conditions for the project to be completed soon, Binh
Thuan Provincial People's Committee is focusing on removing difficulties and
obstacles for the project and investor with many specific solutions.
With
large scale and well-invested, Binh Thuan expects that when NovaWorld Phan Thiet
project comes into operation, it will not only create a standard tourist
destination for Binh Thuan province, but the accompanying traffic technical
infrastructure works also help to form a large transport system for the
province to create convenient for other investment projects. Since then, it
will relay to bring Binh Thuan tourism to a new level, especially when Binh
Thuan is hosting the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism
