Electricity saving enhancement plan in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years in Binh Thuan province

Implementing
Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister on enhancing
electricity saving in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years, the
Provincial People's Committee has
promulgated the
Implementation Plan.
The
promulgation of the plan aims to popularize solutions to save electricity,
raise the awareness of organizations and individuals in the province in
economical use of electricity, bring real power saving into depth and effectiveness. At the same
time, to ensure safety, provide
stable electricity for production, business and daily life needs of the people,
minimize the interruption or reduction of electricity supply in the province.
The plan’s goal for the period of
2023-2025 and the following years is to strive to save at least 2% of the total
electricity consumed annually in the
province.
To achieve this goal, the Plan sets out specific tasks and solutions related to: electricity
saving at offices and headquaters; implementing electricity saving in public lighting, lighting for
advertising and outdoor decoration purposes; electricity saving in households;
electricity saving at commercial
and service establishments; electricity saving in production enterprises;
The plan also assigns many specific tasks for the departments,
agencies, local People's Committees and Binh Thuan Power
Company./.
