Ensuring sufficient supply of petroleum for business production and consumption of people and enterprises

Currently, gasoline prices and gasoline supply for the world and domestic
markets are influenced by many factors, such as: Strategic competition between
major countries; conflict in Ukraine; OPEC's reduction in oil production; US
fuel reserves have decreased... Therefore, the Department of Industry and Trade
requests relevant departments, agencies and People's Committees of districts,
towns, cities, and petroleum traders in the province to coordinate to implement
solutions to ensure adequate supply of petroleum for production, and
consumption of people and businesses.
Accordingly,
petroleum traders in the province shall prepare solutions to ensure no
interruption of petroleum supply in the business system; prepare suitable
stocking plans. In all situations, it is necessary to provide enough petroleum
to retail stores within the enterprise's distribution system to maintain
regular sales activities, ensuring enough supply to meet market requirements; arrange
sufficient human resources, organize duty or overtime to maintain regular and
continuous sales activities, especially before, during and after the Lunar New
Year 2024.
Major
petroleum traders and petroleum distributors in the province shall focus on
sharing supplies and profits in the distribution system with gasoline agents
and retail stores in a reasonable manner to ensure uninterrupted supply of
petroleum to the market. Strictly implement regulations on electronic invoices
for each sale and data connection with tax authorities as described by Decree
No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government regulating
invoices, document.
The
Provincial Public Security and the Provincial Market Surveillance Agency shall coordinate
with relevant agencies to proactively carry out supervision of local petroleum
business activities, ensuring traders comply with current regulations; supervise
petroleum quality in management area; monitor sales times and retail prices of
gasoline at retail stores; do not allow any situation that petrol stations stop
selling for no reason, causing shortages or disruptions in the local petrol
supply. Create favorable conditions for petroleum businesses in transporting,
circulating, distributing gasoline and ensuring security and order as well as
in inspection, examination and supervision of petroleum business activities of
enterprises in the province.
People's
Committees of districts, towns and cities shall closely monitor petroleum
retail stores in the area to grasp information and promptly report to the
Department of Industry and Trade to implement solutions on stabilizing the
petroleum business market to ensure business production, and consumption of
people and enterprises in the province.
