Ensuring the construction safety in the stormy season in 2021

(binhthuan.gov.vn) In order to ensure
labor safety in construction works (office headquarters, houses, apartment
buildings, public works with a large concentration of workers, technical
infrastructure works, ...); along with strengthening the safety inspection of
the construction works in the rainy season in 2021 in Binh Thuan province. The
Department of Construction has asked the People's Committees of districts, town
and city to direct the People's Committees of wards, communes, townships and
affiliated units to mobilize and propagate households, individuals and
organizations in the area to brace and reinforce houses, construction works,
etc. to ensure the safety of properties and people's lives in the stormy
season; At the same time, paying attention to flood and storm prevention for
trade fair activities in localities and tourist areas where guests are staying
to take measures to ensure safety for commercial activities and tourists.
In addition, inspecting and reviewing
the residential areas in low-lying areas, coastal areas, riverside areas, cage
and raft farming areas, being ready to implement the flood and storm prevention
plans if any. Temporarily suspending the implementation of works under
construction when the weather has complicated developments, only allowing to
resume the construction when the weather is favorable.
The Department of Construction also
requests the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with Binh
Thuan Tourism Association to notify the investors of tourist works under
construction, especially the high-rise buildings to guide them fully
implementing the disaster prevention and control, ensuring the construction safety
in the stormy season.
