Ensuring the supply of essential goods for Phu Quy district during Tet Holiday

Department of Industry and Trade, as directed by the Provincial People's
Committee, it has coordinated with the People's Committee of Phu Quy district
to prepare a plan to ensure the reserve and supply of essential goods, means of
transporting passengers and goods for people of Phu Quy district on the
occasion of the Lunar New Year and during the bad weather season in 2023.
Accordingly, on the basis of demand of
the people, the actual size of shops and wholesalers in the district, the
number of goods participating in the reserve plan accounts for about 60 - 70%
of the market demand, specifically: Rice: 192 tons/month; sugar: 03 tons/month;
cooking oil: 1,800 liters/month; instant noodles: 1,800 cartons/month; pork: 36
tons/month; vegetables and fruits: 105 tons/month. In addition, the People's
Committee of Phu Quy district also actively encourages and mobilizes stockpiles
among the people to ensure that they account for 30-40% of essential goods
according to local needs.
The Department of Industry and Trade
will closely monitor market developments, goods supply and demand, perform well
market organization, and ensure smooth circulation of goods from the mainland
to Phu Quy. Supporting and creating conditions for businesses and
establishments in the mainland to expand their distribution networks and
channels in order to well prepare essential consumer goods to serve Phu Quy
district to ensure reasonable prices with quality, food safety and hygiene. The
State Bank - Binh Thuan Branch directs commercial banks to balance credit
sources, creating conditions to help businesses trading in essential goods to access
loans under the support package for small and medium-sized enterprises quickly
and conveniently to supply goods for the market of Phu Quy district.
