Ensuring traffic order and safety in the new and complicated development of Covid-19 epidemic

(binhthuan.gov.vn) In order to drastically implement measures to ensure
traffic order and safety, and to serve the people’s travel needs and transporting goods for socio-economic activities in new and
complicated development of Covid-19 epidemic in the province; the Chairman of the PPC has just issued an Official Dispatch to direct the implementation of tasks to
ensure traffic order and safety
in the new and complicated development of the Covid-19
epidemic.
Accordingly,
the Chairman of the PPC requests:

The Department of Education and Training: to deploy the program "September,
the traffic safety month for students going to school". Direct the schools
to promote the education and training skills in safe traffic for pupils and
students; organize the signing of commitments between the schools and families
on educating students about legal age of driving, and not to drive without
driving licenses; schools coordinate with the local government to ensure
traffic order and safety in the school entrance areas.
- The Department of Transport: to prepare an appropriate transport plan to ensure the capacity
and quality of transport services and strictly comply with regulations on
Covid-19 prevention and control, serving well the travel needs of people on the occasion of
September, 02 and the new school year opening ceremonies; requests transport businesses to fully comply with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.
- Chairmen of People's Committees of districts,
towns and cities: to assign areas in
chared to members of the Traffic Safety Committee; develop coordination mechanism to ensure traffic safety and order from district to commune level; associate the
responsibility of the local leaders to the traffic safety situation in
the localites under their management, considering the task of ensuring traffic order and safety as the political
task as the task of socio-economic development; Actively coordinate with the
Department of Information & Communications, other departments, agencies, political
and social organizations and unions to promote the propaganda and dissemination
of traffic safety legislation and Covid-19 prevention measures to raise public
awareness; not driving after drinking alcohol or using drugs; not rushing,
overtaking; wearing qualified helmets when riding motorbikes, motorcycles, electric
bicycles and measures to limit motorbikes and motorcycles accidents ...
