to the Statistics Office, in the first 8 months of 2022, the production
situation in the province is gradually recovered, export businesses could meet
orders, so export activities have grown quite well. However, the group of
agricultural products is decreased over the same period; Rubber products fall
sharply because there is no consumption market, currently it only consumes in
the domestic market.
Specifically, export
turnover in August is estimated at 76 million USD, increased by 5.92% over the
previous month and 76.02% over the same period in 2021. The accumulation of 8
months of 2022 is estimated at 530 million USD, increased by 37.13% over the
same period in 2021; in which aquatic products reached 166 million USD, increased
by 54.22%; agricultural products reached 9.61 million USD, reduced by 23.6%;
other commodity groups reached 354 million USD, increased by 33.06%.
Regarding direct
export, the accumulation of 8 months is estimated at 525 million USD, increased
by 37.98% over the same period in 2021. In which, export to the Asian market is
estimated at 334 million USD, increased by 40.33%, including: Japan, Taiwan,
China, Korea, Philippines, Cambodia. Export to the European market reached 58
million USD, increased by 27.67%; including: UK, Italy, Belgium, Germany,
Netherlands. Export to America market reached 127.1 million USD, increased by 35.92%;
including countries such as USA, Canada, Belizo.
In the opposite turn,
in the first 8 months of the year, import of goods is estimated at 890 million
USD, increased by 11.61% over the same period in 2021. Imported goods are
mainly raw materials for production such as aquatic products; textile
materials, footwear, wood and wood products, paper of all kinds; animal feed
items serving trading activities. Some main products such as: aquatic products
accounted for 13.88%; raw materials for textiles, leather and footwear
accounted for 12.67%; feed materials accounted for 68.94% of the import
turnover.
