Export turnover in February is estimated at 52.1 million USD

to the Statistics Office, February has fewer working days than January, so the
total export turnover of goods in February decreased by 16.87% compared to the
previous month, estimated at 52.1 million USD. However, compared to the same
period last year, the total export turnover of goods in February increased
94.27%.
In which, the group
of aquatic products is estimated at 13.2 million USD, reduced 20.24% over the
previous month and increased 71.20% over the same period in 2021; the group of agricultural
products is estimated at 1.02 million USD, reduced 16.95% over the previous
month and increased 19.58% over the same period in 2021; other commodity groups
are estimated at 37.86 million USD, reduced 15.62% compared to the previous
month and doubled over the same period in 2021.
In the first 2 months
of the year, the export turnover of goods is estimated at 114.79 million USD, increased
46.80% over the same period in 2021; in which the group of aquatic products
reached 29.81 million USD, increased 36.55%; the group of agricultural products
reached 2.25 million USD, decreased 1.59%; other group of commodity groups
reached 82.73 million USD, increased 52.98%.
In terms of imports,
February is estimated at 98.24 million USD, reduced 30.94% over the previous
month and increased 1.85% over the same period in 2021. Generally, in the first
two months of the year, it is estimated at 240.49 million USD, increased 33.9%
over the same period in 2021. The import is concentrated on several main
products such as aquatic products, textile materials, footwear, raw materials
for livestock feed.
