Favorable conditions for transportation and consumption of agricultural products

Directive No. 08/CTBCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on creating
favorable conditions in circulation and enhancing support for the consumption
of agricultural products, the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan
has requested the relevant departments, agencies and sectors and the People's
Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue to support the
circulation of goods, ensuring the smoothness in transportation of goods
serving the people's consumption and production needs.
The Department of
Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with relevant departments, agencies
and localities to review and summarize the storage capacity of storages for preservation
of agricultural products, aquatic products and essential commodities of
enterprises in the area to be ready for use or to mobilize for storage when
goods cannot be sold in the current complicated epidemic situation. The
Department of Transport to develop plans for essential commodities
transportation, especially agricultural products to proactively respond to the
developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in order to support promptly and
effectively the transportation and circulation of goods in the areas, and
mobilizing these transport vehicles to support the transport of goods when
necessary. The Provincial Market Surveillance Agency to coordinate with the
Market Surveillance Agencies of other provinces and cities to support the
consumption of agricultural products of Binh Thuan province in the context of
the complicated development of Covid-19 epidemic, and the consumption of goods
facing difficulties.
The media agencies in
the province to inform fully the market situation, prices, support and promote
policies on the consumption of agricultural products, announcing the stable
selling points and safe food for local people; at the same time, controlling
false information that can destabilize the market.
The distribution,
retail and wholesale businesses in the province shall increase the ability to
consume agricultural products inside and outside the province; opening more the
fixed and mobile sales points in industrial parks and densely populated areas
to expand the consumption market of agricultural products inside and outside
the province, promptly serving consumers in both normal conditions and socially
isolated or distanced conditions. The process of transportation, operation and
trade must strictly comply with 5K requirements and Covid-19 prevention
measures of the Ministry of Health; the commodities and agricultural products
produced and circulated in the area must ensure the epidemic safety and food
safety in accordance with the provisions of laws.
