February 2023: International tourists to Binh Thuan increased

(binhthuan.gov.vn) According to the Provincial
Statistics Office, the number of tourists in the month is estimated at 685.8
thousand, an increase of nearly 2 times over the same period last year.
Accumulated 2 months of 2023 is estimated to reach 1,383.7 thousand arrivals,
an increase of 2.3 times over the same period last year and 2.6 times over the
same period last year.
Revenue from tourism in the month is estimated
at 1,769.2 billion VND, 2.7 times over the same period last year. Accumulated
for 2 months in 2023 is estimated at 3,563.6 billion VND, 2.8 times over the
same period last year.
In which, the number of international visitors
in the month is relatively stable, estimated at 20.4 thousand arrivals, 1.5%
over the previous month and 7.4 times over the same period last year. Tourists
from Korea and Russia account for high proportion. Accumulated in 2 months of
2023, the number of visitors is estimated at 40.5 thousand arrivals, 5.3 times
over the same period last year.
In general, tourism activities in the province are relatively stable.
Tourism and service business establishments in Binh Thuan continue to
strengthen their operation as well as
prepare for the opening of the upcoming Visit Vietnam Year 2023 with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism
