According to the Provincial Statistics Office, in February 2024, Binh Thuan
tourism is estimated to welcome nearly 800,000 visitors (up by 22.0% over the
previous month, 19.2% over the same period last year); of which, international
visitors reached 47,500 arrivals (up by 5.9% over the previous month, doubling
over the same period last year). Tourism revenue is estimated at over 2,095
billion VND (up by 21.5% over the previous month, 18.6% over the same period
last year).
Thus, the
cumulative number of tourists in the first 2 months of 2024 is estimated to
reach 1,449.4 thousand arrivals, up by 7.3% over the same period last year,
10.8% over the same period last year. Revenue from tourism activities reached
nearly 3,800 billion VND. In particular, the majority of guests staying during
the month are domestic tourists, concentrated in Ham Tien, Mui Ne, Tien Thanh

According to the
assessment of the Tourism industry, tourism activities in the province are
quite vibrant, the number of visitors increased compared to the previous month
and the same period last year due to many favorable factors such as: good
weather, convenient traffic, many attractive promotional tour packages, ... The
highlight of tourism activities during the Lunar New Year was the NovaWord Phan
Thiet with many entertainment activities, especially the Vibe Fest (from 3rd
- 8th of Tet) attracted a large number of people and tourists. The food
and beverage establishments operated thoroughly and entertainment activities were
continuously organized to promptly meet the needs of people and tourists during
Tet.
