Festival on Youth with traffic culture

the morning of November 26, 2021, Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union held a
Festival on Youth with traffic culture 2021. The program was held in-person and
online, attracting more than 100 union members and young people to participate.
Coming to the Festival
on Youth with traffic culture, union members and young people were informed
about traffic safety law; training on traffic safety knowledge; safe driving
skills; situation handling when incidents occur; training in first aid skills
for traffic accidents… In addition, through the quizs "Civilized youth -
safe traffic", union members and young people were also tested on their
knowledge and skills in handling simulated traffic accidents.
At the Festival, Binh
Thuan Provincial Youth Union presented 10 helmet cabinets - keeping the dream
for the Young Pioneer Union Leagues in Phan Thiet city; giving support to 02
traffic accident quick response teams on the National Road 1A (Bac Binh
district and Ham Thuan Nam district); sending gifts to families in difficult
circumstances whose loved ones have died or injured in traffic accidents.
Deputy Secretary of
the Provincial Youth Union - Truong Minh Quang said: Currently, among youth
union members, there are still many cases of intentional violations of traffic
safety law such as: weaving in between traffic, running red lights, driving in
the wrong part or lane of the road, riding and driving when using alcohol... the Festival on Youth with traffic culture
2021 aims to contribute to raising the awareness of young people in obeying
traffic safety law, building traffic culture, preventing the risk of causing
traffic accidents in order to minimize car and motorbike accidents among
teenagers in Binh Thuan province.
