From 0:00 on 27/8/2021 to the end of 02/9/2021, people in La Gi town are requested not to go out except for special cases

(binhthuan.gov.vn) This is the request of the Chairman of the PPC Le Tuan Phong to La Gi town at the online meeting with this locality on COVID-19 prevention and control, taking place on the evening of 24/8/2021. The meeting took place in the context of the situation of COVID-19 epidemic in the town is still complicated, requiring new and more drastic measures to control the epidemic.

Giving his conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Tuan Phong agreed with the plan of La Gi town to continue implementing social distancing under Directive No. 16/CT-TTg until the end of 08/9/2021. During the period of social distancing, from 0:00 on 27/8/2021 to the end of 02/9/2021, people in La Gi town are requested to stay at home, not go out. Thoroughly implementing the principle of "house isolating from house".

Chairman of the PPC stated: During the peak period of social distancing from 27/8 to 02/9, La Gi town must suspend all non-essential activities, only maintains the public activities related to epidemic prevention and control. Public or private construction works must be suspended, fishing activities must also be suspended to meet the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.

The allowed activities during this peak period include: Party and State agencies, but only in rotational duty method, the rest will work from home; coordination activities for epidemic prevention and control; emergency and firefighting activities; food supply activities; troubleshooting activities of technical works; production facilities meeting criteria 03 on the spot; security and order maintaining forces.

According to the Health sector, in 24/8/2021, La Gi town recorded 40 new COVID-19 cases (08 F1 cases in the isolation facilities, 32 cases in the blockade areas). Thus, from 27/8/2021 to 18:00 on 24/8/2021, La Gi town recorded 1,303 confirmed cases of COVID-19. This is the locality with the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the province./.
