General rehearsal for the Opening Ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023

On the evening of March 23, at NovaWorld Phan Thiet (Tien Thanh commune, Phan
Thiet city), the Organizing Committee of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 held a general
rehearsal of the opening ceremony program. There was also the participation of the
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Duong Van An; Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee - Doan Anh Dung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial
People's Committee - Nguyen Minh; representatives of leaders of relevant
departments and agencies.
The
program of the Opening Ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 includes 3 parts:
Crystallization of the heritage domain; Green Journey - Journey to culture, people
and destination; Green convergence. The program lasts for 85 minutes, is led
through the story from the origin of the mountains to the sea and islands; shows
the cultural features, people's activities, village scenery, cultural identity,
customs and habits of indigenous residents, associated with propaganda on
environmental protection, waste reduction, green – safe – friendly tourism
development.
At
the rehearsal, actors and artists performed a unique art program on a uniquely
shaped stage, combining modern sound and light technology to create complex
scenes. It combines many artistic colors, depicting the characteristics of Binh
Thuan with "blue sea, white sand, golden sunshine". Notably, at the
rehearsal of the opening ceremony, there was also a hot air balloon and
paragliding performance. Closing the Opening Ceremony will be a light show by
flying device "drone light"...
The
Visit Vietnam Year is the most typical annual event of Vietnam's tourism
industry. The Visit Vietnam Year 2023 will be held in Binh Thuan with a series
of economic - cultural - social events; it does not only create a driving force
for the recovery of Vietnam's tourism industry in general after being affected
by the Covid-19 pandemic; but also a precious opportunity for Binh Thuan to
introduce and promote cultural values, resources and products to attract
domestic and foreign tourists.
