of 4.6%. For children from 12 to 17 years old, the vaccination campaign has
completed 100% as planned. Currently, localities in the province have
implemented the first booster vaccination plan for this group with the rate of
2.2%, equivalent to 2,675 out of 121,499 children. The group of children from 5
to 11 years old who received the first dose is 56,173 children out of 126,860,
reaching 44.3%, and received second dose is 12,563, reaching the rate of 9.9%.
During this period, the
essential for meeting the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic and
maintaining herd immunity is the booster shots for those from 12 years of age
and older, with priority given to the 4th dose for those at risk as guided by
the Ministry of Health and taking the basic dose for children from 5 to under
12 years old to ensure safety and effectiveness./.
