Ham Tan to conduct COVID-19 vaccination for nearly 9,000 children from 5-12 years old

is expected that nearly 9,000 children aged 5-12 in Ham Tan district will be
vaccinated against COVID-19 in the next phase of vaccination.
The People's
Committee of Ham Tan district has issued a plan on vaccination for this group
of people. Accordingly, the plan sets out the goal of increasing COVID-19
vaccine coverage in the community to actively prevent COVID-19 epidemic.
Regarding specific
goals, the People's Committee of Ham Tan district is determined to basically
complete the vaccination against COVID-19 for children from 5 to under 12 years
old in the district, which is expected to be about 8,676 children. The immunization
will be done in descending order of age, giving priority to children aged 10 to
11, and gradually lowering the age according to the vaccine supply schedule and
the local epidemic situation.
As soon as the
vaccine is distributed and guided by the Provincial Center for Disease Control,
Ham Tan district will deploy the injection. Vaccination work will be organized
in the form of campaign at fixed vaccination facilities, schools and mobile
injection points; There is no limit on the number of people in each vaccination
session to maximize the capacity of injection points.
