Ham Thuan Nam district to be proactive in fire prevention and fighting

The People's Committee of Ham Thuan Nam district said that in order to
strengthen the work of fire prevention and fighting and rescue, prevent large
fires, fires causing serious damage, the People's Committees of communes, towns
and relevant agencies and units must consider fire prevention and fighting and
rescue as regular tasks, not to be subjective, negligent, lose vigilance or
irresponsibly for fire to occur.
It is needed to
increase the propaganda and dissemination of recommendations, knowledge and
skills on fire prevention, fighting and rescue to cadres, civil servants, officials,
employees and the whole people in order to prevent large fires, fires causing
serious damage to people and properties.
The district police
shall strengthen the inspection of fire prevention and fighting safety in the
areas and establishments under their management responsibility, paying
attention to the establishments with high risk, often occurring fires causing huge
damage to property; strictly handling violations; resolutely suspending
operations for establishments that fail to ensure fire prevention and fighting
safety; publicly announcing the identity of the violating establishments on the
mass media. At the same time, organizing 24/7 firefighting service at all time;
preserving and maintaining firefighting equipment and means, ensuring that 100%
of vehicles and equipment in the standing category must operate well,
participating promptly and effectively in handling fires and explosions.
