on National Road 1A through the district, Chairman of Ham Thuan Nam District
People's Committee - Tran Ngoc Diep said that the places such as: Ham Minh
market junction (intersection between National Road 1A at Km 1726+600 and Ham
Minh - Thuan Quy street), section from Km 1720+800 - Km 1721+000 on National
Road 1A ... locates in densely populated areas with complicated traffic
situation as large traffic volume, high potential risks of many traffic
accidents.
Accordingly, the
People's Committee of Ham Thuan Nam district proposed the Provincial Traffic
Safety Committee to advise the competent authority to consider, expand and
install the median strips on the sections of Km 1720+800 - Km 1721+000 of
National Road 1A; install traffic lights with 3 colors adjusted according to
peak hours at intersections: Km 1726+600 National Road 1A (Ham Minh market), Km
1734+220 National Road 1A (market 30). At the same time, it is proposed that
BOT 319 Song Phan branch to prepare the processing records for the unsafe
traffic points on National Road 1A on section Km 1721+000 - Km1721+600, Km
1726+300 - Km 1726+600, Km 1734+000 - Km 1734+500 under directions of the Road
Administration Department IV.
