Handling passenger vehicles for stopping to drop off passengers at gas stations and restaurants along the national roads

the information reported by local people on the issue of intercity buses
dropping off passengers at the petrol station No. 9 on National Highway 1A, in
Xuan An ward, Phan Thiet city; On the morning of 23/5/2021, Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee directly went there for checking, and the issue
was right as reported.
Facing this
situation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued
Dispatch to assign: The Provincial Public Security, the Department of Transport
to strengthen the management of inter-provincial passenger vehicles on the
national roads, strictly sanctioning cases of picking up and dropping off
passengers not at the prescribed places, especially at gas stations,
restaurants, and rest stops along the national roads.
The Department of
Industry and Trade shall make thoroughly the petroleum businesses along the
national roads for not allowing inter-provincial passenger vehicles to stop at
gas stations for picking up and dropping off passengers.
Chairmen of People's
Committees of districts, towns and cities shall propagate and force the petrol
stations, roadside restaurants along national roads to sign commitments for not
allowing intercity buses to stop and drop off passengers. In case of detecting
any intercity bus deliberately stop to drop off passengers, shall notify the
nearest local authorities and health agencies for handling and making mandatory
health declaration for all passengers. Chairmen of People's Committees of
districts, towns and cities shall direct the community COVID-19 prevention and
control teams to strengthen the propaganda so that people returning from epidemic-affected
provinces and cities make truthful and complete health declarations.
The Department of
Health shall direct the affiliated units to coordinate with localities in
collecting samples for monitoring if detected any passenger returning from epidemic-affected
areas and applying appropriate medical isolation measures.
Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee requests the Heads of relevant agencies and units
and Chairmen of the People's Committees of the districts, towns and cities to
urgently and seriously implement the above directions./.
