Handling unregistered passenger coaches and docks, fixed route disguised vehicles

In order to enhance traffic safety and order, and ensure a healthy competition
among passenger transport businesses, the Chairman of the Provincial People's
Committee has sent an official dispatch directing the Departments, agencies and
localities to inspect, handle the situation of unauthorized passenger coaches and
docks, vehicles disguised as fixed routes, carpool vehicles in the province.
Accordingly,
the Department of Transport is required to develop an inspection and handling plan
on the situation of unauthorized passenger coaches, vehicles disguised as fixed
routes, carpool vehicles in the province; inspecting and handling the
representative offices of transport units, parking lots, temporary and
spontaneous parking lots in the province; resolutely handling any violation in
the organization of passenger pick-up and drop-off, "non-ticket offers".
Coordinating with Traffic Police Department - Provincial Public Security and
local polices to develop thematic inspection and handling of unauthorized
passenger coaches and docks, fixed-route disguised vehicles, carpool vehicles
in the province. At the same time, reviewing the organization of traffic to
arrange the passenger transport flows to ensure that there are stopover, pick
up and drop off points according to regulations; reviewing the road traffic
signal system with signs of prohibiting passenger vehicles (considering
priority for fixed routes and buses) from entering streets near bus stations;
organizing bus routes to connect bus stations; creating favorable conditions
for transport businesses operating on fixed routes to be equipped, invested in
transit vehicles for transporting passengers to the registered bus stations,
pick-up and drop-off points according to regulations...
The
Provincial Traffic Safety Committee shall promote propaganda and dissemination
of laws, legal documents regulating operation and conditions for transport
businesses by coaches, regulations on road transport support services and other
relevant legal provisions to passenger transport businesses, bus station and
parking lot businesses in the province to contribute to road traffic safety and
order…
