Health insurance of part-time officials of villages and quarters will be supported by the State Budget

meeting of the Provincial People's Council tenure XI recently, the Provincial
People's Council has passed the Resolution on Regime for part-time official of
villages and quarters, and the number, regimes for people participating in
public works of villages and quarters in the province.
Accordingly, this Resolution
stipulates the support regime for payment of health insurance and funeral allowance
for part-time officials of villages and quarters; stipulates the quantity,
compensation rate, health insurance payment support for deputy heads of
villages and quarters; stipulate the quantity, compensation rate, health insurance
payment support, the regime of funeral allowance for police officers of the
villages; the regime of health insurance payment support for people
participating in public works of villages and quarters.
Applicable objects: Part-time
officials of villages and quarters include: Party cell secretaries; Heads of
villages and quarters; Heads of Fatherland Front grassroots. People involved in
the public works in villages and quarters include: Heads of the Veterans’
Association branches; Heads of Farmers' Association branches; Heads of the
Women's Union branches; Secretaries of Youth Union branches; Heads of the Red
Cross branches; Head of the Elderly Association branches. Deputy Heads of
villages and quarters. Policemen of villages.
Support regimes: Part-time officials
of villages and quarters not subject to compulsory health insurance will be
supported by the State budget to pay for health insurance. If a part-time official
of village or quarter dies while on duty, the person in charge of the funeral
will receive a funeral allowance of VND 14,900,000 (adjustable as the
Government promulgates a new salary system).
Expenses for support regime of health
insurance and funeral allowances for part-time officials of villages and quarters;
payment of monthly compensation to deputy heads of villages, quarters, and
village policemen; the funeral allowance regime for policemen of villages; health
insurance payment for people participating in public works of villages and quarters
are guaranteed by local budgets according to current budget decentralization.
