High-quality human resources for the tourism industry

It is forecasted that in the future, tourism in Binh Thuan province will be
more and more developed when the North-South expressway and Phan Thiet airport
are completed; the overlapping bottlenecks between the planning of titanium
mining or reserving areas and tourism are gradually removed.
However, the difficulties
for tourism development in Binh Thuan are still many, such as: human resources
of the province are still limited in quantity and quality; the specialized
labor rate for tourism is still low; the number of professional and skilled
workers is still small... Therefore, in order to increase competitive
advantage, create a professional and modern working environment and service meeting
the needs of tourists, the development of tourism human resources is an issue
that needs proper attention as well as an urgent requirement in order to turn
tourism into a spearhead economic sector and an economic pillar of the
province.
With the goal of
effective and sustainable tourism development, Binh Thuan is striving to
welcome 8.9 million arrivals by 2025, 16 million arrivals by 2030, of which
international tourists accounts for from 15 - 20%. Revenue from tourism is
expected to reach 63 trillion VND, average growth in the period 2026 - 2030 is from
20 to 22% per year.
