High School Graduation Rate in 2020 reached 99.09%

(binhthuan.gov.vn) The High School Graduation Exam 2020 took place from 9-10/8/2020. According to statistics,
the rate of candidates passed the
High School Graduation Exam 2020 in the whole province
reaches 99.09%; in
particular, the graduation rate of high school students is 99.71%. Compared with the National High School
Graduation Exam 2019, the rate of candidates passing the graduation exam of the province this year is 1.12% higher (last
year 97.97%).
It is known that this year, the whole
province has 10,922 candidates registered to the exam (10,053 high school
candidates, 558 freelance candidates, 311 continuing education candidates) with 477 exam rooms.
As a result, the candidates taking all subjects were over 99%, the number of
absent candidates was the freelance ones. In which, number
of candidate absent in literature
was 20,
reaching 98.69%; in math was 25, reaching 99.81%; in natural
science was 6,
reaching 99.82%; in social science was 19, reaching 99.75%; in English was 16,
reaching 99.84%. Before the exam, according to the Exam Regulations, the
Department of Education and Training also considered the exemption
of foreign language from the high school graduation exam for 24 candidates (with English
certificates as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training);
Exemption from all exams in the high school graduation consideration for 4
candidates with disabilities and reserve scores for 16 candidates with exams in
2019 from 5.0 points or more.

The Department of Education
and Training states that after receiving the
test scores, all candidates have the right to be re-examined. Candidates
wishing to remark the exam can apply at the admission registry place from August 27 to September 5. Within 15 days from the
deadline to receive the re-examined application,
candidates will be notified by the Examination Council on the re-examined results.
