Taking the advantages of sunshine, wind, sand dunes, beautiful beaches, diverse
cultures, festivals and traditional craft villages, over the years, Binh Thuan
has developed into attractive tourism products and services, and putting efforts
to build Binh Thuan tourism brand associated with international events with its
own characteristics.
According to the
Department of Statistics of the province, tourism activities in the province are
operating actively, continuing the growth momentum since the beginning of 2022
and recovering positively compared to the same period last year. Most of the
tourist spots in the province, especially Phan Thiet city, the number of
tourists has increased sharply, of which Phu Quy island is a destination that
many tourists are interested in and choose. In the first 9 months of the year,
Binh Thuan welcomed over 3.9 million tourists, increased by 38.5% over the same
period in 2021. Revenue from tourism is estimated at 9,200 billion VND.
Tourism activities in
Binh Thuan are forecasted to continue to grow. In order to promptly make up for
the shortage of personnel, supplementing high-quality personnel to ensure the
needs of tourists, especially the return of international visitors in winter,
many businesses in Binh Thuan choose the method of on-site training links. This
is not only meets the needs, solves the problem of shortage of human resources
at peak times, but it also helps businesses reduce training costs.
In order to achieve
this goal, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province has requested the
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with functional
departments and agencies to conduct surveys and investigations to understand
the situation and demand for labor of tourism enterprises and services, thereby
planning the right training orientation, training the necessary amount for the
tourism industry, limiting the situation of trained human resources that are
not be used or improperly used.
