In order to Implement the plan for handling the situation of detecting
employees working in industrial zones infected/suspected of Covid-19 of the Steering
Committee for Covid-19 Disease Prevention and Control, the Provincial Labor
Federation sent a dispatch requesting the labor unions at all levels to promote
propaganda for members and employees to strictly comply with epidemic
prevention guidance and 5Ks recommendation of the Ministry of Health.
Accordingly, the union members are
encouraged to return to their places of residence after work, rather than
hanging together, or holding parties, meetings, or taking tours. The employees
and workers should continue to work with peace of mind, not subjective nor
negligent, but not too bewildered, afraid, losing temper before the new
development of the epidemic. Mobilizing employees to strictly observe the
epidemic prevention and control at the factories (wearing facemasks, keeping
distance, avoiding gatherings; making health declarations, limiting the visit to
relatives or traveling to the epidemic-announced places...). The grassroots
labor unions actively shall cooperate with the employers to continue to
seriously and drastically implement measures for the epidemic prevention and
control; developing plans for handling the situation of positive case of
Covid-19 at the units. Reporting quickly to the superior labor union when there
is an infected person at the unit.
In addition, mobilizing employees to
regularly update information on the epidemic situation on state newspapers and
radio stations; do not taking information from unofficial sources, nor
discriminating against employees and experts who have been isolated or have not
been concluded by the health sectors as F1, F2 ... Regularly catching up the
situation of employees and coordinating with the enterprises to have dialogues
with employees to gain their understanding and sharing of difficulties with
businesses in the current conditions. Implementing well the democracy
regulations at grassroots level; supervising enterprises to settle regimes for
employees who are laid off or lose their jobs according to regulations;
avoiding the case of a part of employees using the pretext of the epidemic to
stop working, affecting production and business activities.
At the same time, establishing and
promoting the effectiveness of Covid-19 prevention and control teams at
enterprises. Requiring employees to install NCOVI/BLUEZONE software. Setting up
the enterprise's hotline for employees to report and request timely. Encouraging
the indirect production units to work online or work from home depending on the
specific conditions of each enterprise. Firmly grasping the hypothetical
situations and measures for promptly handling. In particular, enterprises need
to map each factory area, check the exits for the diversion, and know for sure
the residence of employees to serve the epidemiological investigation ...
