Implementation of COVID-19 vaccination campaign for the 2nd booster dose (4th dose) in the province

The Provincial
People's Committee has just promulgated a deployment plan on COVID-19
vaccination campaign for the 2nd booster dose (4th dose) in the province.
The implementation of
the campaign aims to proactively prevent and control the epidemic by delivering
COVID-19 vaccines to the community in Binh Thuan province, contributing to the
dual goals of fighting the epidemic and socio-economic development. The
Provincial People's Committee also requests the campaign to ensure safety and
effectiveness when using the COVID-19 vaccine.
In this vaccination
campaign, the 2nd booster dose (4th dose) will be given to people 18 years of
age and older who have had the 1st booster dose (3rd dose) for the prescribed
time, in which priority is given to: People aged 50 years and older; People
aged 18 years and older with moderate to severe immunodeficiency; People aged
18 and older are in the high-risk group for COVID-19 exposure (health officials,
frontline staffs, workers and people working in industrial zones).
In order to ensure
the successfulness for the vaccination campaign, the Plan has specified many
specific tasks: Receiving vaccines and vaccination supplies, Transporting and
preserving vaccines, and ensuring vaccination safety. As well as each specific
task for departments, agencies, units and People's Committees of districts,
towns and cities./.
