Implementation plan to improve business environment, and enhance the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) of Binh Thuan province in 2020

awareness and actions of agencies and units at all levels in implementing policies with the cross-cutting goal of "Local government accompanies enterprises";
Raising the spirit and attitude of serving businesses and investors, constantly
innovating, improving management quality with the aim of improving the business
investment environment, enhancing the competitiveness for the development
of business and local socio-economy. Timely implementing the solutions to
improve the business environment and the Provincial Competitiveness Index
(PCI), especially the indexes that have just dropped, and those lower than the
national average, creating a favorable investment and business environment for
businesses. Striving to rank the provincial PCI in the group of 20 leading
provinces in the country by 2020 and the following years; the Provincial
People's Committee has just issued an implementation plan for the tasks of
improving business environment and enhancing the competitiveness (PCI) of Binh
Thuan province in 2020.
Accordingly, the PPC assigns the Department of Planning and Investment to be the focal point
to monitor, synthesize, report, and propose tasks and solutions to improve the provincial
PCI in 2020. At the same time, presiding over and coordinating with departments and agencies to effectively implement the Plan No. 164/KH-UBND dated January 13, 2020 of the Provincial People's
Committee on the development and implementation of the Department
and District Competitiveness Index
(DDCI) of Binh Thuan province in 2020. Presiding over and coordinating with the
associations and businesses to receive information and
advise, propose to the Provincial People's Committee, relevant agencies to remove promptly difficulties and obstacles in the process
of investment, production and business of enterprises, especially the
difficulties stemming from the impact of Covid-19 pandemic in order to improve the PCI indicators of the province.
The PPC also
assigns Heads of departments, agencies and
Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to
accelerate the implementation of the plans issued by the Provincial
People's Committee on continuing to perform the major tasks, measures and
solutions to improve the business environment and the national
competitiveness. Implementing well the action
plans and programs of the Provincial People's Committee on solutions in solving
difficulties in production-business activities, disbursing investment capital
sources, ensuring social security, social order-safety to response to Covid-19 pandemic./.
