Implementing the program "Protecting and supporting children to have healthy and creative interactions in the internet environment, period 2021 - 2025" in the province

order to raise the awareness and responsibility of all levels of Party
committees, authorities and people in protecting and supporting children to
interact in a healthy and creative way in the internet environment, the
Provincial People's Committee has issued the Plan on implementation of the
Program "Protecting and supporting children to have healthy and creative
interactions in the internet environment in the period of 2021 - 2025" in
the province.
The Plan’s general
goal is to protect children's confidential information, private life, and
personal secrets when they access information, participate in activities on the
internet, and prevent and handle acts of abuse or taking advantage of the
network environment to commit prohibited acts against children in any form as
prescribed by law. Equipping children with digital knowledge and skills of each
age to know how to protect themselves and how to interact safely in the online
environment, including: Using healthy and safe network; self-protecting while
participating in interactions on the network environment and way to identify,
notify and denounce acts and cases of child abuse in the online environment.
Communicating to the whole society, focusing on parents, teachers, and
caregivers about knowledge and skills to support and orient children to
interact safely, healthily and creatively in the internet environment.
The specific
objectives of the Plan are: 100% of primary schools, junior high schools, high
schools and child protection and nurturing facilities in the province
periodically organize propaganda and education programs to educate children on
necessary knowledge and skills to participate in a safe internet environment;
100% of children who are victims of abuse in the online environment are
supported and intervened at the request of the children themselves or from
their relatives and the social community; 100% of organizations and
individuals, being denounced or found to have violated the law on children in
the online environment, will be handled in accordance with the law.
