Improving the operation quality of Cooperatives, Cooperative Groups, Cooperatives Unions

(binhthuan.gov.vn) As of June 30, 2022, the province has 3,096
cooperative groups, 203 cooperatives and 02 cooperatives unions. The total
number of members of the cooperatives is 48,533, the cooperatives union is 14,
and the cooperatives group is 125,969. Currently, the number of regular
employees in the cooperatives and cooperatives unions is 2,542 employees.
Lately, the
activities of cooperative groups, cooperatives, and cooperatives unions have
promoted the role of gathering, mobilizing, changing the way of thinking and doing
of people by the effectively applying scientific and technical advances to
improve production and business efficiency. The cooperative groups, cooperatives,
people's credit funds have had the proper operation orientation, contributed to
restructure the agricultural sector, and gradually transformed the structure of
crops and livestock according to the regional scale in line with local planning,
contributing to support household economic development, creating jobs for
people, gradually eradicating poverty and reducing usury in rural areas.
In the coming time,
cooperatives, cooperative groups, and cooperatives unions will continue to
consolidate and improve the quality of their activities according to the Law on
Cooperatives 2012. Developing cooperatives with various forms of association,
diversified cooperation; replicating effective cooperative economic models;
creating conditions for household economy to develop in the fields of
agriculture, industry, trade and services to contribut to the formation of
value chains from production to processing and consumption; ensuring the
interest harmonization of the
participating entities; creating favorable conditions for the gradual formation
of hi-tech agro-industry-service complexes.
