In 2022: Many clean water supply works in the province have been built and repaired

In order to implement the Plan No. 2380/KH-UBND dated July 26, 2022 of the
Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the National Strategy
for rural clean water supply and sanitation to 2030, vision to 2045, the
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has directed relevant units to
speed up the investment progress of construction of clean water supply works in
localities in the province to satisfy the needs of domestic use and production
of the people.
Up to now, the whole
province has completed and put into use 05 lists of clean water supply works; besides,
the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector also directed the relevant units
to develop the list of repair, upgrade and expansion of water supply works to
ensure the continuous water supply for people in the dry season. According to
the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector, currently the percentage of rural
households in the province using hygienic water reaches 98.8%, of which the
rate of rural households using clean according to QCVN reaches the rate of 67%.
It can be seen that in 2022, the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector has
focused on investing in the construction and repair of clean water supply works
for rural areas in order to satisfy the demand for water for domestic use and
production of the local people.
In the coming time,
the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will continue to invest and
construct new water supply works to contribute to satisfy the water needs of
the people, ensuring that by 2025, there will be no shortage of water for daily
life according to the Plan No. 2380/KH-UBND dated July 26, 2022 of the
Provincial People's Committee.
