In October, tourism activities in Bình Thuận Province were vibrant with a range
of cultural and tourism events. Traditional festivals such as the Katê Festival
and Thầy Thím Palace attracted a large number of visitors. The Bình Thuận
Tourism Week, which featured workshops, art programs, culinary performances,
and the "Bình Thuận Delicious Dishes" competition, contributed to
promoting the province’s tourism image.
According
to the Provincial Statistics Office, in October 2024, the number of tourists
visiting Bình Thuận was estimated to reach 800,700 arrivals, an increase of
14.85% compared to the same period last year. For the first 10 months of 2024,
the cumulative number of visitors is estimated at 7.971 million arrivals,
reflecting a 13.49% increase compared to the same period last year.
In
October 2024, the number of international visitors to Bình Thuận is estimated
at 25,900 arrivals, marking a 14.32% increase compared to the same period last
year. For the first 10 months of 2024, the total number of international
visitors is estimated to reach 312,800, which marks a significant 46.04%
increase over the previous year. The majority of international visitors during
this period came from countries such as South Korea, China, Russia, Germany,
the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The
revenue from tourism activities in Bình Thuận in October 2024 is estimated to
reach 2.088.8 billion VND, marking an increase of 12.24% compared to the same
period last year. For the first 10 months of 2024, the cumulative revenue is
estimated at 21,240.9 billion VND, reflecting a 13.98% increase over the same
period last year.
In
October 2024, the revenue from accommodation services in Bình Thuận is
estimated to reach 497.6 billion VND, an increase of 8.04% compared to the same
period last year. The revenue from food services is estimated at 1,647.5
billion VND, a rise of 14.19%, while the revenue from tourism support services
is estimated to be 29.7 billion VND, a 2.26-fold increase compared to the
previous year.
For
the first 10 months of 2024, the cumulative revenue from accommodation services
is estimated at 4,886.6 billion VND, reflecting an increase of 11.36% compared
to the same period last year. Revenue from food services is estimated at
15,656.1 billion VND, up by 14.14%, while revenue from tourism support services
is estimated at 232.8 billion VND, showing a significant increase of 59.17%.
