Increasing the discharge flow through the spillway of Ham Thuan reservoir

Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydro Power Joint Stock Company said it will increase
the discharge via the spillway of Ham Thuan reservoir.
Specifically: At 10:00 a.m. on October
25, 2021, the discharge volume through the spillway will be increased from 100
m3/s to 150 m3/s, and from 150 m3/s to 200 m3/s at 14:00 on October 25, 2021.
The discharge flow through the spillway can be increased depending on the
weather situation in the reservoir basin.
According to Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da
Mi Hydro Power Joint Stock Company, at 6:00 am on October 25, 2021, the water
level of Ham Thuan reservoir reached 604,988 m height, the water intake flow:
204 m3/s, the flow discharge through the spillway: 100 m3/s, flow for
generators: 125 m3/s; The water level at Ta Pao hydrological station was 119.42
m (alert level 1 is 119.0 m). In order to proactively prevent unexpected
weather conditions, the Company has increased the discharge volume through the
spillway of Ham Thuan reservoir.
