Industrial sector’s added value in 2021 increased by 6.85% over the same period last year

In 2021, the proportion of our province's industrial sector accounted for
29.53% of the GRDP. Industrial sector’s added value increased by 6.85% over the
same period in 2020; in which, the processing and manufacturing fields
increased by 3.18% over the same period last year.
Last year, the
Department of Industry and Trade implemented well the priority industrial
development policy in the direction of industry restructuring combined with the
application of science and technology, selecting a number of industries to place
development priority in the direction of effectively exploiting the advantages
of the province; In addition, the capital for infrastructure investment has
been arranged, which invested in the priority industries mainly playing a
supporting role, encouraging the private sector to participate... Accordingly,
in 2021, it has been deployed, constructed completed 06 wind power projects, with a total
capacity of 235.3 MW, total investment capital of about 10,139 billion VND;
completed the investment in 20 medium and low voltage power grid projects, with
a total investment of about 227.3 billion VND and 01 project in Phu Quy island
with the investment of 30.1 billion VND; attracted 16 projects in the
industrial sector, with a total registered investment of 12,957 billion VND;
there were 650 newly established enterprises with total newly registered
capital of 8,500 billion VND.
At the same time, the
Department of Industry and Trade also implemented effectively the policy of
developing human resources in the industrial sector to meet the requirements of
industrialization and modernization; well implemented the policies to support
and encourage enterprises to invest in research, development and technology
transfer activities, and to apply scientific and technological advances to
production and businesses, especially in areas with ability to create
breakthroughs in productivity and quality. Continuing to implement policies to
create a favorable business and investment environment, creating favorable
conditions to attract investment and support for industrial development;
encouraging the development of small and medium-sized non-industrial
enterprises; Besides, only allowing enterprises to apply the advanced mining
and mineral processing technologies that save and protect the environment, and
gain the sustainable socio-economic efficiency...
