Investment and construction of coastal road 719B, Hon Lan - Tan Hai section

According to the Provincial Management Board on Traffic Construction Investment
Project, the project of the coastal road 719B, Hon Lan - Tan Hai section will
be started construction in December 2022.
The project is
located in Ham Thuan Nam district and La Gi town, with a land use area of about
41.3 hectares; this is a grade III traffic project, with a total investment of
515,574 million VND funded by the central budget in the medium-term public
investment capital planned for the 2021-2025 period. It is expected that by
2025 the project will be completed and put into operation.
The total length of
the project of the coastal road 719B, Hon Lan - Tan Hai section is 10.4 km. In
which, the main route is 8.7 km long, with the starting point is at the
existing Hon Lan road in Tan Thanh commune, Ham Thuan Nam district and the end
point is the intersection with the road DT.719 at Km45+588, Tan Hai commune, La
Gi town; this road has a foundation width of 20 m, surface width of 12 m, and
the curb width of 4 m on each side. The branch road N1 has a length of 1.7 km,
the first point is the intersection with the road DT.719, at Km40+507, Tan
Thuan commune, Ham Thuan Nam district and the end point is near the coast at
Tan Hai commune, La Gi town with roadbed width of 12.5 m, road surface width of
10.5 m, curb width of 1.0 m on each side.
The objectives of the
project are to gradually complete the technical infrastructure system in the
general development planning of Binh Thuan province; to connect and
inter-regionally impact with the Southeast provinces, meeting the needs and
facilitating the movement and circulation of goods of people in the region; to contribute
to promote socio-economic development in the province, especially tourism
development to turn Binh Thuan into a national center of marine tourism.
