Investment of La Gan lighthouse project in Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district

(binhthuan.gov.vn) According to the Vietnam Maritime Administration, on October 7, 2022, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province approved the site for the Vietnam Maritime Administration to survey the investment location of La Gan lighthouse project in Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district.
On that basis, on December 22, 2022, the Vietnam Maritime Administration approved the La Gan lighthouse project in Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province under the project of Investment and construction of lighthouses: Da Lat, Truong Sa Dong, Phan Vinh, Tu Chinh A, Bai Dinh, Phuc Nguyen, Ca Mau shoal, Mui La Gan, Lach Gep, Lach Quen, Lach Quen, Hon La.
Under the direction of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, on July 7, 2023, the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment has announced to reduce the area expected to build La Gan lighthouse out of Co Thach Binh Thuan International Ecotourism Complex project in Tuy Phong district. After adjusting, La Gan lighthouse project in Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province has a land use area of 1,575 m2.
Currently, the consulting contractor is preparing the design and plan before submit it to the Vietnam Maritime Administration for approval in August 2023. The Vietnam Maritime Administration will organize the selection of construction contractors and expects to start construction of the La Gan lighthouse project in Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province in the fourth quarter of 2023.
