Investment progress acceleration of industrial clusters in the province

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Executing the direction of the Provincial
People's Committee, from the beginning of 2022, the Department of Industry and
Trade has presided over and coordinated with other departments, agencies and
localities to focus on speeding up the implementation of procedures for
infrastructure investment in industrial clusters in the province.
Up to now, there are
15 industrial clusters in the province that have been investing in infrastructure
construction. In the first 6 months of 2022, investors of industrial clusters
are focusing on preparing administrative documents, compensation and site clearance,
and construction such as internal roads, gates, fences, sewers, and centralized
wastewater treatment systems.
Regarding attraction
of secondary investment projects, Covid-19 epidemic has affected the attraction
of investment in industrial clusters of the province. In the first 6 months of
2022, it is not possible to attract new projects. However, there are still several
investors who come to research and register, such as factory manufacturing
suitcases and bags in Nghia Hoa industrial cluster, Ham Tan district. Up to
now, the province has 27 industrial clusters, attracted more than 174 projects
with a total area of 268.8 hectares, accounting for 35.67% of the industrial land
area, creating jobs for about 8,200 local people.
