Investment proposal for Son My general port in Ham Tan district

Project on construction and trading infrastructure of Son My Industrial Park 1 is
approved the investment undertakings by the Prime Minister on December 20, 2007
to Son My Industrial Park Investment Construction and Trading Infrastructure
Limited Company.
On that basis, Son My
Industrial Park Investment Construction and Trading Infrastructure Limited
Company has proposed to the Ministry of Transport to consider and approve the
investment undertakings of Son My General Port project. The scale of the
project includes general wharves and cargo warehouses for ships with tonnage up
to 50,000 tons, liquid cargo wharfs for ships with tonnage up to 100,000 tons.
The investment of Son
My general port with general wharfs, liquid cargo wharfs, specialized wharfs
along with maritime infrastructure is in line with the development orientation
of Son My wharf area in the overall master plan on Vietnam’s seaport system
development in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 approved by the
Prime Minister; At the same time, the Son My port area planning is also
consistent with the Decision of the Ministry of Transport on the detailed
planning of the group of South Central seaports for the period of 2020, with a
vision to 2030.
