La Gi deploys social assistance during the Lunar New Year 2023

In order to ensure that everyone and every family can enjoy the spring and Tet
holiday, contributing to stabilize the people's life during the Lunar New Year
2023, the People's Committee of La Gi town has requested the Division of
Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs, the People's Committees of communes and
wards in the district to urgently review and summarize the number of households
and people at risk of hunger during the Lunar New Year and early 2023. Thereby,
mobilizing social resources, proposing solutions to help people overcoming
difficulties, not suffering from hunger so that they can welcome the
traditional Tet in 2023 warmly, joyfully, happily.... Absolutely do not let any
household, especially lonely elderly households; poor households, near-poor
households, and disadvantaged households whose members are enjoying monthly
social assistance policies; ethnic minority households… suffering from hunger
before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2023.
On
the other hand, developing plans to visit, give gifts and provide social
assistance during the Lunar New Year 2023; mobilizing organizations and
individuals and allocating local budget to take care of the social protection
beneficiaries, the poor, the disadvantaged, and the elderly alone in the area
so that all these target groups have the opportunity to enjoy spring and
celebrate Tet. Cooperating in fully and timely payment of social allowance
regimes for social protection beneficiaries in the community in accordance with
regulations; Avoiding errors in the payment process and delay in the payment of
subsidies to the beneficiaries.
