La Gi Regional General Hospital to receive the RT-PCR system

the morning of 14/7/2021, the Department of Health and the representative of
Novaland Group presented a medical equipment package to La Gi Regional General
Hospital.
Accordingly, the
medical equipment package includes a 96-holes RT-PCR testing system worth of 04
billion VND. Currently, La Gi town has recorded 06 suspected cases of COVID-19
in the community, therefore, the capacity improvement of testing and diagnosing
of COVID-19 is an important solution to create initiative in the epidemic
prevention and control in this locality.
The Deputy Director
of the Department of Health - Dang Thuc Anh Vu said: Currently, the whole
province has 02 facilities capable for confirming Sars-Cov2 virus by Realtime
PCR technique, which are the Provincial Center for Disease Control and the Provincial
General Hospital. In the coming time, after being installed, the machine system
at La Gi Regional General Hospital will improve the testing capacity of Binh
Thuan province. This not only helps the local health force to proactively screen
for infectious risk groups, but also contributes to reduce the pressure on the
lines. At first, localities such as Tanh Linh, Duc Linh, La Gi and Ham Tan can
transfer samples to La Gi Regional General Hospital for RT-PCR testing.
“After receiving, installing, and trial
commissioning, the Binh Thuan Department of Health will coordinate with the
Provincial Center for Disease Control and La Gi Regional General Hospital to
review all processes, procedures to soon submit to Pasteur Institute of Nha
Trang for the assessment of affirmative testing capacity," Mr. Dang Thuc
Anh Vu added.
Along with the
donation of specialized medical equipment to La Gi Regional General Hospital,
Novaland Group has also donated thousands of medical masks and antibacterial
hand sanitizers in many areas of the province./.
