La Gi strengthens poverty eradication for poor households whose members are meritorious to the revolution

La Gi town has just planned to eliminate poverty for poor households whose
members are people who have contributed to the revolution in the town by 2025.
The
plan is to well implement Directive No. 25-CT/TU dated 15/9/2017 of the
Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee "On continuing to
strengthen the leadership of the Party over the work of people with meritorious
services to the revolution"; continue to take care of people with
meritorious services to the revolution and improve the lives of people with
meritorious services to the revolution; striving by the end of 2024, to ensure
that 100% of households with meritorious services to the revolution have a
standard of living equal to or higher than the average level of the community
where they reside.
By
the end of 2022, the whole town has 733 poor households and 516 near-poor
households, of which there are 01 poor and 01 near-poor households whose
members are meritorious to the revolution.
According
to the plan, the locality strives to reduce 01 poor household and 01 near-poor
household whose members are meritorious services to the revolution in 2023. By
2025, there will be no new poor or near-poor households with members who have
contributed to the revolution and ensure that 100% of households with
meritorious services to the revolution have a standard of living equal to or
higher than the residential community's average.
To
achieve the targets, in the coming time, the locality will strengthen the
leadership and direction of the Party committees and authorities at all levels.
Specifically, the responsibility of all levels, agencies and socio-political
organizations will be enhanced in the work of gratitude; encouraging the
participation of people from all walks of life. For families of people who have
contributed to the revolution, they must have a sense of striving to rise up,
the spirit of overcoming difficulties in life. Strengthening information and
propaganda about collectives and individuals having good practices and
effective creative models to contribute to speed up the progress of
multi-dimensional poverty eradication for households whose members are
meritorious to the local revolution.
In
addition, the locality will organize the mobilization of agencies, units,
organizations, businesses and individuals in the area to contribute, sponsor,
and assist households with meritorious services to the revolution that are
under income deficit and lack of several criteria according to the
multidimensional poverty line. At the same time, fully and promptly implementing
preferential regimes and policies for people with meritorious services to the
revolution.
