Large number of tourists to Binh Thuan on the occasion of the Hung Kings Ancestral Festival

(binhthuan.gov.vn) The Hung Kings Ancestral Celebration this year
lasts for 3 days (from April 9 to 11) coinciding with weekends; combined with
beautiful sunny weather along with many attractive festival, cultural and
tourism activities have attracted thousands of tourists to Binh Thuan province.
According to the Division
of Tourism Management - Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, most tourist
accommodation establishments in the province have returned the operation since
the Lunar New Year, so visitors to Binh Thuan quite crowded on this occasion.
From April 10 (March 10, lunar year), the average room capacity at 1 to 2-star
tourist accommodation establishments reached about 50%; from 3 to 5 star and
equivalent reached about 90 to 95%; In which, on April 10, most of the 4 to 5-star
hotel resorts were fully booked, such as Sonata Resort, Rock Water Bay, The
Cliff Resort, Bamboo Village, Victoria, TTC Ke Ga.... Most of them were
domestic visitors from Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces (single or
groups of friends and family), the rest was foreigners living and working in
Vietnam. In order to ensure safety of tourists, the Department of Culture,
Sports and Tourism had requested localities, tourist sites, attractions and
tourism businesses to strictly comply with regulations on epidemic prevention
and control associated with the epidemic safety criteria for accommodation
establishments, price listing, environmental sanitation, food hygiene and
safety, security and order, saving a good impression with tourists about a
safe, friendly and attractive destination.
