The Summer Campaign this year will be held from 01/6 to 31/8/2021. Giving speak at the ceremony, Mr. Lam Hong Tuyen - Acting Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union emphasized: "With the spirit of volunteerism, over the past years, the summer youth volunteer campaign has become an extensive rush activity of the youth with practical meaning, making a significant contribution to the implementation of socio-economic development targets and tasks of Binh Thuan homeland. Thereby, creating a large practical environment for young people to practice, dedicate and grow up”. Mr. Lam Hong Tuyen also said: The launching of Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign this year is very meaningful, serving as a premise for revolutionary action movements of the youth of the province, contributing to the successful implementation of the plans and goals via participating in socio-economic development, new rural development and civilized urban areas; ensuring social security, national defense and public security of the province.

Deploying the summer youth volunteer campaign in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union suggested that all levels of the Youth Union in the province continue to innovate more strongly in the content and method of campaign implementation; applying flexibly the actual conditions of localities and units to organize the activities. Splitting and separating the squads to organize activities; encouraging units not to organize ceremonial activities but to focus on immediately implementing specific and practical programs and works. Besides, the activities in the campaign must be practical and widespread, creating an exciting emulation movement. The Activities in the campaign must be represented by useful tasks and works, creating specific products that bring value and benefits to the community and people, leaving good impressions in the hearts of the local people. At the same time, ensuring absolute safety in campaign implementation. In particular, it is necessary to ensure strict implementation of the requirements for Covid-19 prevention and control in the area, to prevent the epidemic from spreading in the community from the volunteer activities of youth union members.

At the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the affiliated units of the Youth Union and sponsors presented the symbolic boards of works and tasks to Ham Can commune (Ham Thuan Nam district) with a total value of nearly VND 1 billion. In addition, the Provincial Youth Union and DREAMHOME Construction Design and Consulting Co., Ltd. have signed a cooperation agreement on supporting the youth in livestock farming.

After the brief online launching ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union visited and gifted 20 packages to students with difficulties (10 packages) and families under preferential treatment policy (10 packages) …with a total value of VND 23 million.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union also announced the Decision of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to recognize Mr. Truong Minh Quang (Chief Office) and Mr. Thai Thanh Bi (Head of Union Development Board) for the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, term XII, tenure 2017 - 2022.
