Launching the event "Joining hands to protect the marine environment"

(binhthuan.gov.vn) On the morning of December 18, at Thuong Chanh Beach,
Hung Long ward, Phan Thiet city, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee
coordinated with the Organizing Committee of the Miss Vietnam Tourism
Ambassador Contest 2023 to launch the event "Joining hands to protect the
marine environment".
Here, the Organizing Committee awarded the project "Clean park
- green environment" to the locality and organized environmental cleanup
on Thuong Chanh beach.
In particular, celebrating the 79th
anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 -
December 22, 2023) and expressing gratitude for the great contributions of the
Youth Volunteer Force in the resistance war against foreign invaders as well as
during the period of construction and development of the nation, the
Organizing Committee has prepared 10 gifts, 1 million VND each, to
be given to 10 aunts and uncles who are Former Youth Volunteers in Phan Thiet
city.
Immediately after the launching of
"Joining hands to protect the marine environment" at Thuong Chanh Beach,
the Organizing Committee continued to come to My Thanh commune, Ham Thuan Nam
district to organize the activities "helping
children in difficulties to go to school" and "meal for children". Here, the
Organizing Committee awarded 10 scholarships, 1 million VND each to
poor and disadvantaged students of My Thanh Primary School and supported 1,000
meals for My Thanh Kindergarten.
These are activities in response to the Visit
Vietnam Year 2023 "Binh Thuan -
Green Tourism Comes Together". Thereby,
contributing to promoting propaganda and education to form awareness, good
attitudes, and environmentally friendly behaviors of the young generation in joining hands to build a
green - clean - beautiful environment; especially, children in ethnic minority
areas.
