Meeting and connecting tourism businesses in key markets

On the afternoon of December 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism
coordinated with the Tourism Association to organize the Program Meeting and
connecting tourism businesses in key markets. Attending the program, there were
leaders of the tourism industry, Tourism Association, tourism businesses, and
30 travel businesses from key tourism markets of the province.
Giving the opening
ceremony, Mr. Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and
Tourism said: In recent years, tourism in Binh Thuan has seen steady growth.
The number of visitors to Binh Thuan has increased steadily over the years.
However, Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the tourism industry. In
order to restore tourism activities to the new normal state, Binh Thuan wishes
to strengthen the connection, cohesion, and sharing cooperation opportunities
between tourism businesses, at the same time seeking solutions to restore and develop
tourism industry.
On this occasion, the
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also signed a cooperation agreement
with Viettel Binh Thuan to deploy and announce the Online Travel Exchange
(e-commerce), aiming to expand and cooperate in trading between tourism
businesses to develop new types and products of tourism in line with the actual
situation in the new normal period, contributing to the recovery of the tourism
market.
