Meeting of the Steering Committee for Program “Internet and computers for children”

On the morning of November 09, 2021, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's
Committee Nguyen Minh chaired the meeting of the Steering Committee for Program
"Internet and computers for children". Attending the meeting, there
were the members of the Steering Committee for Program "Internet and
computers for children".
As planned, Binh
Thuan province will organize the Campaign "Internet and computers for
children" in December 2021 at the Provincial Convention Center. The
purpose of the Plan is to mobilize benefactors, agencies, units and businesses
to support devices to disadvantaged students for online learning; Accordingly,
the priority support is given to students of poor and near-poor households, and
students whose parents died from Covid-19 and have not got any device for
online learning.
At the meeting, Vice
Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Minh basically agreed with the contents of the plan
for the Campaign "Internet and computers for children" campaign. The
Vice Chairman of the PPC requested the Department of Education and Training to
review the number of students eligible for support from poor and near-poor
households and students whose parents died from Covid-19 and have not got any
device for online learning. The Provincial Study Promotion Association is assigned
to receive funding from benefactors, agencies, units and businesses.
