More than 25 tons of goods to relay La Gi town

Continuing the series of programs
"Touching the love", on the morning of 31/7/2021, the Standing
Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union carried out the 27th "Youth
- Sharing love Truck" to La Gi town, where is under social distancing by
Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister.
Executing the direction of the
Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 and the Provincial Special Task Team
on COVID-19 prevention and control in La Gi town, promoting the spirit of
mutual affection and sharing with difficult places, Binh Thuan Provincial Youth
Union has mobilized organizations, businesses and individuals inside and
outside the province to join hands to support La Gi to overcome this difficult
period. From the socialization mobilization resources, the Standing Committee
of the Provincial Youth Union organized the 27th "Youth - Sharing Love Truck”
to relay La Gi town.

This trip carried 20 tons of fresh
fruits and vegetables; 300 gifts; 3 tons of rice; 50 cartons of noodles; 15,000
face masks; 200 barrels of water of all kinds; 1,000 rice servings; soy sauce, anti-splash
face shields;…. These are all necessities that the Standing Committee of the
Provincial Youth Union wants to send to the frontlines fighting against the
epidemic, the isolation and blockade areas, the medical staffs, the people and
young people directly affected by the epidemic, especially the homeless, street
lottery sellers, children with disabilities, the elderly alone, poor and
near-poor households, and families under preferential treatment policy ... at
the epidemic center of La Gi. The total value of this trip is more than 800
million VND.
Previously, the Standing Committee of
the Provincial Youth Union has made 26 trips to the youth unions of 10
districts, towns, city, some armed forces units throughout the province and Ho
Chi Minh City. Up to now, the total value of resources mobilized to carry out
27 trips is more than 3.3 billion VND./.
