More than 500 workers in Phan Thiet I Industrial Park received Tet gifts

In the afternoon of 31/12, 514 workers and employees working at enterprises in
Phan Thiet I Industrial Park received Tet gifts from the Labor Union of Binh
Thuan province. This is an activity within the framework of nearly 5,000 gifts
of the program "Tet reunion, spring bonding" 2023, which the Labor
Union of Binh Thuan province will give to disadvantaged workers across the
province on the occasion of Tet this year.
The
program was carried out at Thuan Tien Garment Co., Ltd in Phan Thiet I
Industrial Park. Binh Thuan Provincial Labor Union and leaders of provincial
departments and agencies gave 514 gifts to the disadvantaged workers working in
Phan Thiet I Industrial Park; at the same time, sending encouragement and New
Year wishes to workers. In which, each gift is worth 700,000 VND, including
500,000 VND in cash and confectionery.
In
particular, out of 514 gifts, there are nearly 130 gifts for workers of Kim Do
Co., Ltd who were forced to resign due to order reduction as the impact of the
COVID-19.
“Due to the reduction of orders, in the past
time, our company was forced to cut contracts with more than 170 workers, so
when the Provincial Labor Union gifts to nearly 130 difficult workers of Kim Do
Company, I am very touched. They are practical gifts for workers who have just
lost their jobs”, shared by Mr. Phan Cong Chau - Vice Chairman of Labor Union of
Kim Do Co., Ltd.
“The labor union organization always gives us
sincere, timely and caring feelings, especially workers with difficult
circumstances, working away from home. Receiving gifts is a moment of happiness
and joy to step into the new year to strive more”, shared by Ms. Phan Thi Yen

On
this occasion, the program also held a prize draw. 30 lucky workers received
gifts with household appliances such as fans, pots and pans, electric kettles,
pot sets, and gas stoves.
