Nearly 2.2 million visitors to Binh Thuan in the first quarter of 2024

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Tourism activities in Binh Thuan province continue to be stable in the first quarter of 2024. Specifically, the number of tourists increased by 6.41% over the same period last year, estimated to reach nearly 2.2 million visitors, of which international visitors reached nearly 122 thousand.
According to the Provincial Statistics Office, the number of tourists in March alone is estimated to reach approximately 711 thousand arrivals (up by 3.5% over the same period last year), of which the estimated number of international visitors in the month is 34. 2 thousand arrivals (up by 37.6% over the same period last year); revenue from tourism activities in March is estimated to reach nearly 1,873 billion VND. Cumulative tourism revenue in the first quarter of 2024 is estimated to reach 5,701.5 billion VND (up by 6.2% over the same period last year).
In order to maintain the growth rate in April as well as the second quarter of 2024, aiming to welcome 9.5 million visitors this year, in addition to organizing exciting and attractive activities to celebrate the major holidays (April 19, April 30 and May 1, Hung Kings’ Anniversary...), in the coming time, Binh Thuan Tourism industry will continuously introduce and promote tourism products and programs as well as the image of the Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan destination to tourists when participating in the Southern Folk Cake Festival 2024 in Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2024, International Tourism Fair in Korea...
