Nearly 30,000 children from 5 to under 12 years old in Phan Thiet city will be vaccinated against COVID-19

People's Committee of Phan Thiet City has just issued a plan on COVID-19
vaccination for children in the city. Accordingly, it is expected that 29,440
children from 5 to under 12 years old of the city will be vaccinated.
Vaccination for this group will be taken as soon as the Ministry of Health
distributes the vaccine.
Vaccination for
children from 05 to under 12 years old will be administered in descending order
of age. Accordingly, prioritizing vaccination for children aged 10 to 11 years
old and gradually lowering the age according to the schedule of vaccine supply
and local epidemic situation.
The organization of
vaccination will be conducted in the form of vaccination campaign at fixed
vaccination facilities (Medical Stations, Medical Centers), at schools and
mobile injection sites, with no limit on the number of people in one
vaccination session in order to maximize the capacity of vaccination sites.
Arranging mobile
emergency teams or preparing emergency teams ready to assist when an incident
is reported at vaccination points to promptly handle the severe
post-vaccination complications, if any. All vaccination points must be equipped
full boxes of anaphylaxis medicine and emergency equipment.
Preparing plans and
procedures for coordination between the vaccination site and the nearest
medical facility to ensure emergency treatment for post-injection incidents
during the vaccination session./.
