1. COVID-19 situation in Vietnam:
a. From 6h to 12h, 11/5 recorded 18 new cases:
- 02 cases isolated immediately after entering at Dong Nai.
- 16 cases recorded domestically at Bac Giang (10), Hanoi (2), Quang Tri
(2), Bac Ninh (1), Hai Duong (1), they are all in the isolated areas.
2. Information on new cases:
a. 02 new cases isolated immediately after entering:
- CASE P3498, isolated immediately after entering at Dong Nai: female,
age 38, Vietnamese, address: Luong Tai district, Bac Ninh. On May 7, 2021, this
patient from Sweden entered via Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight VN10 after
transited in France and has been immediately quarantined after entering Dong Nai
province. Test result on May 9, 2021 was positive to SAR-CoV-2. The patient is
now isolated and treated at Dong Nai Lung Hospital.
- CASE P3499, isolated immediately after entering at Dong Nai: male, age 27, Indian expert, On May 07, 2021,
this patient from India entered via Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight
QR970 and has been immediately quarantined after entering Dong Nai province.
Test result on May 9, 2021 was positive to SAR-CoV-2. The patient is now
isolated and treated at Dong Nai Lung Hospital.
b. 16 cases recorded domestically:
- CASE P3490, recorded at Hanoi: male, age 31, address: Lang Giang, Bac
Giang; taking care of patient at K hospital – Tan Trieu branch. Test result on May
10, 2021 was positive to SAR-CoV-2. The patient is now isolated and treated at
National Hospital for Tropical Diseases – Dong Anh branch.
- CASE P3491, recorded at Hanoi: male, age 68, address: Thanh Tri, Hanoi;
having treatment at K hospital – Tan Trieu branch to May 06. Test result on May
10, 2021 was positive to SAR-CoV-2. The patient is now isolated and treated at
National Hospital for Tropical Diseases – Dong Anh branch.
- CASES: P3492-P3497, P3504, P3507,
recorded at Bac Giang; having in association to the outbreak at National
Hospital for Tropical Disease – Dong Anh branch. These patients have been
centrally isolated before.
Test results on May 10, 2021 were positive to SAR-CoV-2. The patients
are now isolated and treated at Luc Ngan Medical Center.
- CASE P3500, recorded at Bac Ninh: female, age 6, address: Thuan Thanh,
Bac Ninh; having in association to the outbreak at National Hospital for Tropical
Disease – Dong Anh branch. The patient has been centrally isolated before. Test result on May 10, 2021 were positive to
SAR-CoV-2.
- CASE P3501, recorded at Hai Duong: male, age 30, address: Hai Duong
city, Hai Duong; F1 of P3182. The patient has been centrally isolated before. Test result on May 11, 2021 were positive to
SAR-CoV-2. The patient is now isolated and treated at Hai Duong Hospital for
Tropical Diseases.
- CASE P3505, recorded at Quang Tri: male, age 23, address: Dong Ha city,
Quang Tri; F1 of P3222.
- CASE P3506, recorded at Quang Tri: female, age 23, address: Dong Ha
city, Quang Tri; F1 of P3222.
These above patients have been
centrally isolated before. Test
results on May 10, 2021 were positive to SAR-CoV-2. The patients
are now isolated and treated at Quang Tri Lung Hospital.
3. Information on testing: Number of tested samples from 27/4 to now is
255.025 samples.
4. Number of people on quarantine: Total number of people having close
contact and entry from the epidemic areas under medical monitoring (isolated): 67.877
of which:
- Centralized isolation at hospitals: 1.018
- Centralized isolation at other facilities: 27.641
- Isolation at homes, residences: 39.218
5. Treatment situation:
- Number of negative cases to SARS-CoV-2:
+ 1st time: 25
+ 2nd time: 17
+ 3rd time: 25
- Number of deaths: 35.
- Number of cured cases: 2.618.
